Achari Chicken Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1/2 Kg (Boiled)
  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes 3 (Chopped)
  • Yogurt 1 Cup
  • Garam Masala: 1 Green cardamom, 4 Cloves, 6 Black pepper, 1 Black cardamom, Star anise, Mace
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2 (Chopped)
  • Green Chilies 4
  • Yellow Color 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 Cup

Achari Masala Ingredients:

  • Black Mustard Seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Fenugreek 1/4 tsp
  • Nigella Seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tbsp
  • Bayleaf 1

Direction/Method:

  1. First of all take a Grinder Jar and add Black Mustard Seeds 1/4 tsp, Fenugreek 1/4 tsp, Nigella Seeds 1/4 tsp, Coriander 1 tbsp, Cumin 1 tbsp, Bayleaf 1 and slightly grind it. Ready your Achari Masala for Achari Biryani.
  2. Now take a bowl and add Yogurt and add Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, Salt and add Achari Masala (Prepared from Previous Step) and mix it well and marinated the Chicken with this and Cut the Green Chilies and Remove The Seeds and add into marinated Chicken and mix it well.
  3. Take a pot and add oil and add onion and fry it until light brown color after that add Garam masala (1 Green cardamom 4, Clove 6, Black pepper 1,Black cardamom, Star anise, Mace) and mix it and add Tomatoes and add some water and cover it and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. After that open it and mix it and add marinated Chicken and cook further for 5 minutes on medium flame. After that open it and further cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame but without Cover (mix it continuously). After this add boiled rice and add yellow color (mix with some water) and now cover it and cook for 20 minutes on very low flame. After that mix it and Your Achari Biryani is Ready.
