Besan Wala Naan on Tawa – Naan Recipe (No Yeast No Oven)

Besan Tawa Naan Recipe (No Yeast No Oven) Naan without Tandoor Naan Recipe without yeast by kitchen with amna

Naan Dough Ingredients:

  • Plain Flour 2 Cups
  • Yogurt 1/2 Cup
  • Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Warm Water as you Required

Besan Ingredients:

  • Chickpea/Gram Flour 1 Cup
  • Pomogranate seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion 1 (Chopped)
  • Green Chili 1 (Chopped)
  • Coriander 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Button Red Chilli 1 tsp (Crushed)
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain 1/4 tsp
  • Water as you required

Direction/Method:

  1. Step 1: Take a large bowl add plain flour, Salt, Sugar, baking soda and mix it well and add oil and mix it well and now add Yogurt and mix it well. After that knead the dough with Warm Water. When dough come in form then cover it and rest it for 4 hours.
  2. Step 2: Now take a bowl and add Chickpea/Gram Flour, Salt, Ajwain, Coriander, Cumin, Button Red Chilli and mix it well and add Pomogranate seeds, Onion, Green Chili and mix it well and add water as you required and mix it (I used 1/4 Cups) Your batter Should be normal (not too hard and not too soft)
  3. Step 3: Now preparing besan naan. First of all dust dry plain flour on the kitchen slab and knead slightly to dough and make desirable size balls for rolling the naan. After that rolling the naan and spread the besan batter and spread water on the back side of naan and now put this naan on tawa (water side should be down side and besan side should be up side) now cook it on low to medium flame until the bubbles are come on the naan after that turn the whole tawa and heated the top side of the naan. (Move the tawa overhead on the stove) until naan become into desire color and shape. After that turn back and spread oil and your besan naan is read and ready for serving.
