Black Forest Trifle

Sponge Cake Ingredients:

Plain Flour 1 Cup
Powder Sugar 1 Cup
Cocoa Powder 2 tbsp
Eggs 3
Vanilla Essence 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Milk 1/3 Cup
Oil 1/4 Cup

Other Ingredients:

Cream 2 Packets (400ml)
Icing Sugar 4 tbsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Dark Chocolate as you required
Cherries Tin as you required
Milk as you required


Step 1: Take a bowl and add Plain Flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Powder and mix it well. Your Dry Batter is Ready.

Step 2: Take 2 bowls one for egg white and second for egg yolk. First beat the egg white and then add Powder Sugar gradually and beat it well until it become creamy.

Step 3: Now slightly beat the egg yolk and add Vanilla Essence and 2 tbsp dry batter from step 1 and slightly beat it and then add Oil, Milk and add 2 tbsp dry batter and fold it. Now put this batter into egg white batter and fold it well and then add remaining dry batter and slightly fold it well. Now your cake batter is ready.

Step 4: Now take a cake pan and grease with oil and place a butter paper and put this batter and set it well and bake it into preheated (10 minutes on medium flame) pot/patila for 20 minutes on medium to low flame. For Oven Preheat it for 25 minutes on 180c and bake for 15 minutes on 180c. After that your Cake Sponge is ready and rest it until it become into room temperature.

Step 5: Now take a bowl and add Cream 2 Packets (400ml) and then add Icing Sugar, Vanilla Essence and whisk/beat it well.

Step 6: Now take cups/bowl and place chocolate sponge cake and then add some drops Milk and then put cream from step 5 and then place Cherries and then put cream and then place cake and then again place Cherries and in last put cream and grated Dark Chocolate and place a Cherry. Your Black Forest Trifle is Ready.
