Ingredients:
Rice 3 Cups (Soaked For 1/2 Hour)
Chicken 1/2 Kg
Tomato 2 (Chopped)
Green Chili 2
Onion 1 (Chopped)
Garlic 7 Cloves
Prunes 6
Salt 3 tsps
Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
Ginger Paste 1 tsp
Yellow Food Color 1 tsp
Shangrila Mixed Pickle 2 tbsp
Oil 1/2 Cup
Kewra Essence Some Drops
Garam Masala:
Bay Leaf 1
Cinnamon 1
Star Anise 1
Cumin 1 tsp
Black Pepper 6
Green Cardamom 4
Black Cardamom 1
Cloves 6
Direction:
Step 1: Take a pot and add oil and then add onion and garlic cloves and stir it and fry them until they become into golden color and then add whole Garam Masala and stir it well and add some water (4 tbsp) and then stir it well and add chicken and stir it and add Ginger Paste and stir it well and then add 1/2 cup water and then add Tomato, Green Chili, Prunes, Salt, Red Chili Powder and stir it well on medium flame for 5 minutes.
Step 2: After that add 2 cups water and stir it well and cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes on medium flame. After that remove the lid and stir it well and then add 5 cups of water and stir it and then add Soaked Rice and slightly stir it and cook it on high flame until the water becomes dry.
Step 3: After that add Shangrila Mixed Pickle and slightly stir it and then add Yellow Food Color, Kewra Essence and cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes on low flame. After that your Degh Wala Achari Chicken Pulao is Ready.
