Plain Flour 1+1/2 Cup
Yellow Food Color 1 tsp
Yeast 1 tsp
Chickpea Flour 1+1/2 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Warm Water 1/4 Cup
Red Food Color 1/2 tsp (Optional)
Sugar Syrup Ingredients:
Water 1 Cup (for Sugar syrup)
Sugar 2 Cups
Green Cardamom 2
Step 1: Take a pot and add Sugar 2 Cups, Water 1 Cup and Green Cardamom 2 and stir it on medium flame and cook it until it’s melted. After that cook it 1 to 2 minutes or until it’s thickness. Your Sugar Syrup is ready.
Step 2: Now take a bowl and add 1/4 cup warm water and add Sugar 1 tbsp, Yeast 1 tsp and mix it and cover it and rest it for 10 minutes on room temperature.
Step 3: After 10 minutes take a large bowl and add Plain Flour, Chickpea Flour, Yellow Food Color, Red Food Color (Optional), Sugar 1 tbsp and mix it well and then add Ghee 1 tbsp and mix it and add as you required water and make batter. Thickness should be normal not too thick and not too thin. After that rest it with cover for 10 minutes in room temperature.
Step 4: After that take a pan and add ghee and preheat it well. Ghee Should be too heated. Now take a piping bag and put a nozzle and put the batter and make jalebi into pan and fry it from both sides and then put it into sugar syrup immediately for 1 to 2. Your Jalebi is Ready.
