Murg Chana Ingredients:

Chicken 1/2 Kg
Chickpeas 2 Cups (Boiled)
Onion 1 (Chopped)
Tomato 1 (Chopped)
Green Chilli 4 (Chopped)
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Black Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Ginger 1 tsp (Chopped)
Kasuri Methi 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
Mango Powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
Black Pepper Powder 1/2 tsp
Oil 1/2 Cup

Tarka Ingredients:

Oil 4 tbsp
Paprika Powder 1/2 tsp
Ajwain 1/4 tsp

Tawa Naan

Plain Flour 2 Cups
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Warm Water as You Required
Powdered Sugar 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Sesame as you required

Murg Chana Direction:

Step 1: Take a bowl and add Chicken, Red Chilli Powder, Black Salt, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Powder, Mango Powder, Coriander Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Yogurt and mix it well.

Step 2: Now take a pot and add Oil 1/2 Cup and add Onion and fry it until it become into golden brown color and then add 2 tbsp water and stir it and then add Ginger Garlic Paste and stir it and then add Tomato and stir it for 1 minute and then add chicken from step 1 and then stir it well for 5 minutes on high flame and then add remianing masala of chicken from step 1 and add 2 cups water and stir it and cover it with lid and cook for 20 minutes on medium flame.

Step 3: After that remove the lid and stir it and add boiled Chickpeas and 1/2 cup water and stir it and cover with lid and further cook it for 10 minutes on medium flame.

Step 4: After that remove the flame and stir it and add Kasuri Methi, Garam Masala Powder and stir it.

Step 5: Now take a pan and add Oil 4 tbsp and preheat it well and turn off the flame and add Ajwain, Paprika Powder and stir it and put it into murg chana pot (from step 4) and stir it and add chopped Green Chilli, chopped Ginger and cover with lid and cook it for 2 minutes on low flame. After that your Murg Chana is Ready.

Tawa Naan Direction:

Step 1: Take a bowl and add Plain Flour, Powdered Sugar, Salt, Baking Soda and mix it well and then add Yogurt and mix it and then knead it with warm water and then add oil and knead it for 5 minutes. After that cover it and rest it for 4 hours.

Step 2: After that make small ball and rolling it and make bread and spread some water on it and sprinkle some Sesame and press fingers on it and spread water on back side and put it on preheated tawa and cook it on medium flame and then turn the tawa and cook it until it become into perfect color.     I like your recipe but please amna let me know weather I can make nan on oven by this nan dough , because I don’t have aluminum yaws I have nonstick tawa, or I can make on nonstick tawa.
    Kindly reply me and tell me how much time in oven need or I can make on nonstick tawa. Waiting for your reply.

    1. you can make on non stick but simple roti method. taste will be same but shape not. for oven grill it until it’s color changed

      1. Amna kuch log lal masoor ki daal bhi use Karty hai Chaney mai, kaya yeah thek hai? Any change in taste or not?

    Amna I make nan on nonstick then I grill it’s really good to eat. I want to ask a question from you , I watch cooking shows I saw mostly while cooking white peaks they put Lal Masoor daal also,
    Is it good to put daal, any change in taste or not , kindly tell me .
