Shahjahani Chicken Biryani


Chicken 1/2 KG
Onion 1 (Chopped)
Tomato 2 (Chopped)
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Pistachio 1 tbsp (Chopped)
Almond 1 tbsp (Chopped)
Green Chili 2 (Chopped)
Green Coriander 2 tbsp
Mint 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Salt 2 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
Mace & Nutmeg Powder 1/4 tsp (Each)

Sabut Garam Masala:
Green Cardamom 4
Black Cardamom 1
Cloves 6
Black Pepper 6
Cumin 1 tsp
Cinnamon 2
Rice (Boiled) 1/2 KG
Yellow Food Color 1 Pinch


Step 1: Take a pot and add oil and use medium flame and then add onion and fry them until they becomes into light golden color and then add Almond, Pistachio and stir it well and then add Sabut Garam Masala and stir it well and then add chicken and stir it well and then add Ginger Garlic Paste and stir it and cook it until it becomes into white color.

Step 2: After that add Salt, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala Powder, Mace & Nutmeg Powder, Tomato, Green Chili and stir it well and cover with lid and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

Step 3: After that remove the lid and stir it well and add Yogurt, Green Coriander, Mint, Lemon Juice and add boiled rice and add yellow food color and cover with lid and cook for 20 minutes. 5 minutes on medium flame and remaining 15 minutes on low flame. After that your Shahjahani Chicken Biryani is Ready.
