Shami Kabab Ingredients:

Split Chickpeas (Chana Dal) 1 Cup (Soaked)
Chicken 250 gms
Egg 1
Ajwain 1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander Seeds 1 tbsp
Button Red Chilli 12
Salt 1 tsp
Cumin Powder 1 tbsp
Ginger 1 tsp (Chopped)
Garlic Cloves 6
Cinnamon 2
Black Cardamom 1
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
Cloves 3
Green Corainder 2 tbsp
Mint 1 tbsp
Green Chilli 2
Water 4 Cups

Bread Ingredients:

Wheat Flour 1 Cup
Plain Flour 1 Cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp

Other Ingredients:

Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
Mint, Coriander. Green Chilli Sauce as you required
Tomato Ketchup as you required
Cucumber 1/2 (Chopped)
Onion 1/2 (Chopped)


Step 1: Take a pot and add Split Chickpeas, Chicken, Ajwain, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Seeds, Button Red Chilli, Salt, Cumin Powder, Ginger, Garlic Cloves, Cinnamon, Black, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cloves and add 4 cups Water and stir it and cover with lid and cook it for 5 minutes on high flame and then use medium flame and cook it for 20 minutes. After that turn off the flame and dish out it.

Step 2: Now take a chopper jar and put Green Corainder, Mint, Green Chilli and chopped it and then put shami kabab paste (from step 1) and add 1 egg and chopped it well. After that make it’s kabab and shallow fry it on pan/tawa from both sides. Your Shami kabab is Ready now.

Step 3: Now take a large bowl and add Wheat Flour, Plain Flour, Salt and mix it well and then add oil and mix it well and then knead it with as you required water and make a normal dough and rest it for 10 minutes with cover. After that make it’s ball and dust dry flour on the slab and rolling it and then put it on preheated tawa and cook it from both side and you can use oil. Follow this method and make all breads.

Step 4: Now take a bowl and add Yogurt, Salt and 2 tsp Mint, Coriander. Green Chilli Sauce and mix it well. your sauce is ready.

Step 5: Now take a bread and place 2 shami kababs and spread it and then spread yogurt sauce (from step 4) and then Cucumber, Onion, Lettuce and Tomato Ketchup and roll it. Follow this method and make all rolls.
