Sheer Khurma Recipe Eid Special by Kitchen With Amna
Thin Vermicelli 1 Cup
Chopped Dates 10
Sugar 1 Cup
Mawa or Khoya 1/2 Cup
Ghee 1 tbsp
Green Cardamom Powder 1/2 tsp
Saffron 1/2 tsp (Optional)
Raisins 1/4 Cup
Almond 1/4 Cup (Soaked & Chopped)
Pistachio 1/4 Cup (Soaked & Chopped)
Pistachio 1 tbsp (For Garnished)
Almond 6 (For Garnished)
Milk 1.5 Litre
Step 1: Take a pan and add ghee and add Vermicelli and slightly fry it on medium to low flame for 2 minutes.
Step 2: Now take a pot and add milk and boiled it and then add Green Cardamom Powder, Chopped Dates, Raisins and stir it and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Step 3: After that add fried Vermicelli (from Step 1) and stir it and cook it for 2 minutes on medium to low flame with stir. After that add sugar and stir it and then add Almond, Pistachio and stir it and cook it for 3 minutes on medium flame with stir. After that add Saffron and stir it and then turn off the flame and add Mawa/Khoya and stir it. Your Sheer Khurma is ready. Now serve it with Almond, Pistachio Garnished.
