Australian Lamington Chocolate Cake Recipe Without Oven by Kitchen With Amna

Chocolate Lamington Cake Recipe is an Australian cake, made from squares of sponge cake coated in an outer layer of chocolate sauce and rolled in desiccated coconut. So I will make it Without Oven.

Sponge Cake Ingredients:

Plain Flour 1 Cup
Powder Sugar 1 Cup
Butter 1/2 Cup (100 gms)
Eggs 3
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Warm Milk as You Required

Chocolate Sauce Ingredients:

Cocoa Powder 1/4 Cup
Powder Sugar 1 Cup
Milk 1/2 Cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Butter 1 tbsp

Coating Ingredients:

Chocolate Sauce
Desiccated Coconut

Sponge Cake Direction:

Step 1: Take a large bowl and add butter and beat it well and then add Powder Sugar and beat is well and then add eggs one by one and beat it well and then add Vanilla Essence, Baking Powder and add 3 tbsp plain flour and beat it on low speed for some seconds and then add remaining plain flour and fold it well and then add Warm Milk as you required (I used 3 tbsp) and fold it well. Now Your Cake batter is ready.

Step 2: Take a cake mold and grease it with butter and place a butter paper and put this cake batter and bake it.

Without Oven (Patila) Method:
Preheat for 10 minutes on medium flame and bake it for 25 minutes on medium to low flame.

Oven Method:
Preheat for 30 minutes on 180c and bake for 20 minutes on 180c.

Chocolate Sauce Direction:

Take a sauce pan and add Powder Sugar, Cocoa Powder and mix it well and then add Milk and mix it well and turn on the flame and stir it on medium flame for 5 minutes and then add Butter, Vanilla Essence and stir it for 2 minutes on medium to low flame. Now your sauce is Ready.

Coating Direction:

Cut the cake from the edges and then cut into small pieces and then take a piece and dip/coating into chocolate sauce and then coat with Desiccated Coconut and make all cake pieces with this method. Your lamington cake is Ready.
