Dhokla Without Steamer Rava Dhokla Recipe by Kitchen With Amna

Dhokla Ingredients:

  • Semolina 1 Cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 Cup
  • Chickpea Flour 1 tbsp
  • Powder Sugar 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt as to taste
  • Ginger Paste 1/2 tsp
  • Green Chili 2 (Paste)
  • ENO Fruit Salt 1 tbsp
  • Just for information
  • Water 1 Cup

Tarka Ingredients:

  • Curry Leaves 6
  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
  • Dry Coconut Powder 2 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp
  • Water 1/4 Cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Green Coriander 1 tbsp (Chopped)
  • Green Chili 4 (Chopped)
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar Powder 1/4 tsp

Direction/Method:

  1. Step 1: Take a Bowl and add Semolina, Chickpea Flour, Salt, Sugar, Turmeric Powder, Ginger Paste, Green Chili and mix it well and add yogurt and oil and mix it well and add water and mix it well and rest for 20 minutes in room temperature.
  2. Step 2: On other Hand take a Pot/Patila and add 2 liter water and put a stand or steel bowl which should be up side water.
  3. Step 3: After 20 minutes now add ENO Fruit Salt into batter and mix it well.
  4. Step 4: Now your batter is ready add into a cake mould or any mould and steam it for 20 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Step 5: On other hand Prepread Tadka. Take a pan add oil and Mustard Seeds and fry it slightly and add green chilies and add water and add lemon juice, salt, sugar and mix it and cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame. After that tadka is ready now spread in on Dhokla and Sprinkle Green Coriander and Coconut powder.
  6. Step 6: Now Cut it into small pieces and serve it.
